Woodridge MP Cameron Dick has taken to Twitter to boast about the popularity of Queensland as a destination for other Australians.
He tweeted that people from interstate are voting with their feet and moving to Queensland with the latest ABS data showing 88% of all interstate migration gains were to Queensland while New South Wales and Victoria have gone backwards.
“Welcome to all those new Queenslanders who are helping grow the strength of our state,” he tweeted.
