Ipswich Detectives have charged a 28-year-old Woodridge man and a 27-year-old woman from the same Logan suburb in connection with the break and enter of a jewellery shop in Redbank Plains last Friday.
Police allege the man and woman, together with another man, broke into the jewellery shop at about 3:30 am that morning, causing substantial damage to the roller door and glass cabinets.
The offenders fled the scene in a blue Ford Falcon sedan.
Following joint investigations by Logan and Ipswich Detectives, the pair have since been charged with break and enter and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Several items of jewellery have been recovered.
The Woodridge man is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on the 11th of next month.
The woman will face the same court four days earlier.
