A cold snap will see temperatures drop over the next few days, particularly across the southern and southeast interior.
It’s expected to drop to 3 degrees for Toowoomba, while Stanthorpe’s expected to hit zero overnight and into the early morning.
The Weather Bureau’s James Thompson says the lower than usual temperatures will hang around for some time atleast until Tuesday.
He says the burst of cold air is coming up from the southern states.
