A man has been pulled unconscious from a dam in the Scenic Rim after his four-wheel drive rolled and landed in the water in a serious two-vehicle crash late yesterday afternoon.

Paramedics, including critical care, were called to the scene of the crash in Obum Obum, just north east of Kalbar, at 5.40pm.

A rescue helicopter was also sent to the accident at the intersection of Kulgun and Obum Obum roads.

Three people were treated at the scene.

The  four wheel drive rolled after colliding with another vehicle on the rural road and then landed on its wheels in the water.

The male driver was unconscious and was pulled to the shoulder of the dam to receive medical treatment.

His female passenger suffered an arm injury.

The second driver, a teenage boy, crashed into a fence and suffered knee and abdominal injuries.

The man and the woman were both flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in stable conditions.

The teenage boy was taken by road to the same hospital, also in a stable condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
