After confusion on who will get the Pfizer vaccine, it’s been revealed Darling Downs doctors will be going ahead with plans to rollout that particular jab from next month.
However, due to a lack of supply, officials are expecting low numbers of those being vaccinated, atleast until August.
Under a new plan announced this week by the Federal Government, each state will receive a set number of Pfizer vaccines, depending on population figures.
Most of those vials will be given directly to General Practitioners.
Meantime, there’s been no change to plans for Darling Downs Health to hold a super clinic this weekend, before suspending the program until after the next batch of Pfizer jabs arrive in Australia.
