Another police border issue

Police say they’re disappointed that some people still haven’t got the message about the requirements when crossing the border.

Another example has come to light at Goondiwindi and Texas.

Speaking at today’s regular Covid update press conference,  Deputy Police Commissioner Steve Gollschewski says he’s surprised motorists are still risking a fine for doing the wrong thing.

Reminder:   Border passes are required to enter New South Wales as well as entering Queensland.

That’s right – you need two border entry passes.

While Queensland requires you to complete the documentation three days prior to travel,  The New South Wales requirement gives you an immediate response.

THE FORMS YOU NEED:

You can complete the New South Wales border pass online with just a few simple questions.

For Queensland,  the so-called X-Pass has been re-introduced.  You can apply for that online as well.
