Authorities say it’s too early to confirm if masks can be removed this Friday across Logan City and the Scenic Rim.
The comment comes after yesterday’s news of another covid positive case in the community, mainly on the Gold Coast.
There’s also a growing list of exposure sites, Just south of Logan City.
Some of the areas of concern include Helensvale – at the Westfield Shopping Centre, Saturday July 19th and the previous Monday July 12th.
Some of the newest casual contact venues include Kmart at Westfield Helensvale and the Department of Transport at Helensvale.
