Although the official count is yet to confirm the winners from the Saturday night Queensland state election, Logan MP Linus Power says he’s got a big job ahead of him on Monday.
“First thing Monday, I’ve met so many people at the booths that we’ve called the November 2nd list, we’ve got a lot of follow ups on issues that people have in the local area”.
He also says he wants to make sure they deliver on their promises. “That means, continuing construction on the Mount Lindsey (Highway), continuing constructing the new TAFE at Yarrabilba”.
“There’s a lot to do and I want to hit the ground running”.
With the counting of votes continuing, Mr Power was the clear leader in Logan on Saturday night taking 53% of the votes counted.
