Beenleigh Rotary Club members have been busy bees finding new ways to give back to their local community.
Members of the Rotary Club of Beenleigh put the call out for hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, sanitary items, and more to be donated.
Beenleigh Rotary Club public image director, Rachelle Mulraney, said they had Cass from Sewing Lair provide them with bags she had sewn to pack the items into.

“Members and guests got together as a part of our regular meeting at Club Beenleigh to pack the items up so we can begin distribution,” she said.
“These will go to organisations like Nightlight, Cafe Edge, Family & Kids Care Foundation and more around our community to help out those who don’t have access to some basic items or perhaps they’ve had to leave their home suddenly so it’s nice to know they’ve got something for a starter.
“This was the second time we’ve packed these hygiene packs, and it’s an ongoing project for us .
“We will be looking to start up another collection of hygiene items soon to pack even more.”
