Border bubble reinstated for two local government areas in New South Wales

The border bubble has been reinstated for residents of two local government areas in New South Wales.

Border zone rules will no longer apply to Brewarrina Shire and Lismore City residents.

If they’re essential workers or are traveling for essential purposes they can now cross the border into Queensland .

People crossing the border for essential work will need to have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Essential purposes include attending school and receiving medical care.

Travel across the border for recreation or social visits isn’t permitted.
