Logan City Council is now accepting applications from local businesses who want to improve their facades across the city.
The Facade Improvement Program (FIP) encourages owners and tenants to enhance their facade and help improve street appeal.
The aim of the program is to promote high quality facade improvements, enhance main street amenity, encourage improved footfall and patronage, encourage footpath dining and stimulate the day and night time economy of the city’s centres.
The program is targeted at premises within local and neighbourhood centres as well as the Logan Central Local Plan.
Council will contribute $2 for every $1 invested by successful applicants up to a maximum of $5,000 to deliver the facade enhancements.
Mayor Darren Power says local business owners should consider applying for the program.
“The program is now open to accept applications.
“Spread the word so that we can ensure full value of this program is realised.”
The application period for the Facade Improvement Program closes March 18, 2022.
