Drizzly weather will not stop tomorrow’s monthly Milky Way Markets from taking place at the renowned Kingston Butter Factory.
20 international food stalls, 25 stylish craft stalls and live music events are set to headline the popular event, named after a local street.
Event Manager Jane Dear says that there are many reasons for people to come down and enjoy the atmosphere tonight.
“It’s a safe family environment, off-street parking suitable for able and disabled people and it’s a nice family night out.
“Because it’s a nice night out, it’s been very popular during the COVID pandemic.”
“We also have an animal farm, and a jumping castle”.
Milky Way’s animal farm will include llamas, piglets and lambs.
The event is run by a not-for-profit organization based in Jimboomba, in partnership with the Logan City Council, and was designed by the team responsible for Mingle Markets in Yarrabilba.
The organization’s mission statement is “To help anyone in the multimedia creative industries”.
The musical acts will be headlined by local artist Briana Dinsdale.
