A truck fire has caused problems on the M1 during this-morning’s early commute.
The blaze broke out just after 6:00 this morning in the southbound lanes at Ormeau
The driver was able to pull his vehicle to the side of the motorway, but the incident has caused a backlog of traffic with delays reported from Logan City south to the Gold Coast.
Paramedics assessed one person on the scene who was reported to be in a stable condition.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) stated the fire was at Exit 45.
The cause of the fire will be the subject of an investigation.
