Logan City meatworks offering jobs to redundant Ipswich workers

A Beenleigh meat works facility has offered to employ some of the workforce,  stood down recently by an abattoir in Ipswich. TEYS AUSTRALIA says it’ll consider applications from the near 600 staff who were recently let go from the JBS Dinmore group. JBS says it’s been forced to stand down the staff – just one week after reopening for business. It’s been operating two shifts a day,   three days a week for six weeks after shutting its doors in August for about a fortnight.
