A Logan City man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man in Ipswich on Christmas night.
The body of a 53-year old man was found in the front yard of a home in North Ipswich.
Initial investigations suggest an altercation took place between two men, which resulted in one being fatally wounded.
A crime scene was established in the early hours of Saturday morning with scenes of crime and scientific officers in attendance.
A 33-year old man was arrested at an Edwards Street address in Woodridge at 5am Saturday and is assisting police with their inquiries.
