From a cold snap to a rain event

As many hunker down in the lockdown, forecasters are predicting a rain event over the next few days.

Rain is forecast for today through to Saturday for Logan City and the Scenic Rim..

According to forecasters,   a low-pressure trough in western Queensland is pushing moisture not just over inland areas but to the coast.

Forecasters say we’re going to see substantial falls with some areas receiving a month’s worth of rain,   while drought affected regions could see much needed rainfall.

Anything up to 70mm will fall over the next two or three days.
