Remnants of the wild weather continue to cause problems in the Scenic Rim with a major road closure following a landslide.

Large boulders have come down onto Tamborine Mountain Road at Witheren.

The road, known locally as the goat track, was closed in both directions Monday night and was still shut on Tuesday morning.

Police said it is expected to remain closed to motorists for some time, so drivers have been advised to avoid the area.
