A Logan City mother has been put on six months’ probation after pleading guilty in Beenleigh Magistrates Court to one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The court was told, the 27-year-old Edens Landing woman punched her 42 year old neighbour in the face , causing her teeth to pierce her upper and lower inner lips after an argument over the neighbours dog.
The mother of three, claimed in court that three days prior to the assault, the victim’s dog had gotten out and attacked her daughter.
No conviction was recorded.
