Logan’s total number of COVID-19 cases has almost doubled to 1,912 and the number is expected to rise.
It comes as the state’s Chief Health Officer, Dr John Gerrard warns all Queenslanders will be exposed to the virus within weeks.
Logan’s high number of cases cases includes 47 from overseas, 37 locally acquired with a known contact, 13 locally acquired with no known contact, and 12 from interstate.
The origin of 1,803 Logan cases is under investigation.
