Logan has now recorded over 2,000 COVID-19 cases after 300 cases were reported in the city overnight.
According to the Queensland Government, the area has recorded 2,255 cases and 2,146 cases are under investigation.
It marks a jump of 343 cases overnight, as Logan’s total number of COVID-19 cases almost doubled to 1,912 on Monday.
Logan’s high number of cases cases includes 47 from overseas, 37 locally acquired with a known contact, 13 locally acquired with no known contact, and 12 from interstate.
In the city, 90.4 per-cent of people have received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose, while 83.3 per-cent of people are fully vaccinated.
Overnight, the Scenic Rim saw a jump in 19 cases to a total of 80 cases, with 71 under investigation.
In that region, 87.7 per-cent of people have received their first vaccination, while 82.3 per-cent of people are fully vaccinated.
