Police have charged a man after a 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed during a road rage incident at Meadowbrook last night.
It’s alleged around 6.40pm, both men were travelling in vehicles along Edenlea Drive when they had a fight at the intersection of Loganlea Road.
The 25-year-old man, who was a passenger in the white Hyundai Getz, got out of the car and approached the 21-year-old man driving the white Mitsubishi Lancer when he allegedly opened his car door and hit the older man.
The Meadowbrook man was then stabbed twice in the chest, once in the stomach and had his left arm cut.
Paramedics transported him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
The 21-year-old driver allegedly fled the scene before going to the Logan Police Station a short time later.
The man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
He’s due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
The men don’t know each other.
