Man to face court over stabbing of a Logan City man

The 33-year-old Brisbane man has been charged with one count each of wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm and will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court later today.

Police charged the man after he allegedly stabbed a young Logan City man in South Brisbane early yesterday morning.

It’s alleged around 1am the 33-year-old Brisbane man and his friends became involved in a fight with another group on Grey Street and during the altercation a 21-year-old Boronia Heights man sustained minor stab wounds to his chest and right arm.

The group fled and were arrested on the Victoria Bridge a short time later.

The Boronia Heights man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he was treated for his wounds.
