Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a serious condition with back, hip and possible abdominal injuries after a crash on Spring Creek Road, at Queen Mary Falls, near Killarney late this morning.

The officer in charge of the Warwick Ambulance Service, Wayne Kirk explains how the man was hurt.

Officer Kirk said the man had to be carefully extricated approximately 20 metres  back up an embankment.

And he has this advice for motorists or motorbike riders navigating the road to Queen Mary Falls.
