Forecasters say the threat of heavy rain has cleared however we will still see isolated showers for the rest of today, while officials continue to monitor flood levels and the potential for flash-flooding.
7NEWS reporter ERIN EDWARDS and her cameraman were stranded yesterday by rising floodwaters at Bromelton House road…
She says the road was flooded and they chose to forget it.
“By the time we finished shooting our story and went to get out, we found that WE were trapped”.
She goes on to say she lead by example and show that it’s not a good idea to attempt to drive across a flooded roadway.
“We believe that like police, like emergency services, we set the example.
“We certainly would never risk our lives – or the lives of rescuers – who might have to come and save us”.

“We are standed but we are happy and we’re just waiting for it to go down”.
