Logan City Council took part in Frocktober this year with Councillor Natalie Willcocks pledging to wear her wedding dress to the monthly meeting if she met her fundraising goal, however this did not eventuate.
Frocktober raises awareness and funds for Ovarian Cancer research.
“As you can see I am unfortunately not wearing my wedding dress as I didn’t raise $1000 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation,” Cr Willcocks said.
“But in 2021 I will definitely start my campaign a bit earlier.
“However I did raise $530.
“A big thanks must go to my fellow councillors Mindy Russel, Teresa Lane, and Miriam Stem for each donating $100.”
Cr Willcocks said you can still donate.
