The Jimboomba Rotary Club is encouraging locals to kick start their fitness resolutions for the New Year by joining them for their annual Australia Day Recreational Bike Ride.
Logan City and Scenic Rim locals joining the ride will get to cycle through the picturesque Scenic Rim, discovering historical and cultural sites of the Mununjali people, and finish with a sumptuous breakfast.
Those registered in the Auscycling sanctioned event can choose from three rides: the 30km which started at 7am, 75km starting at 5am or 100km bike ride kicking off at 5:30am with all riders finishing around 9:30. Rider will be starting and finishing at the Jimboomba Community Hall, with hydration stations set up at various spots along the ride.
Riders will also be treated to a BBQ Breakfast buffet, with families and community members invited to come along and cheer on participants at the finish line.
