The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has flown a woman to hospital in Brisbane, after she reportedly fell from a horse this morning.
The rescue chopper was sent to a private property, in the Goondiwindi region, at 9am.
It’s believed the woman, aged in her 40s, was checking on cattle, when one of the cows knocked the horse she was riding, resulting in her falling off.
Paramedics were treating the patient for significant head injuries, when the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue aeromedical team arrived.
The woman was stabilised, before being flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
