It has been confirmed that a woman from Sydney’s northern beaches where there has been a COVID-19 cluster, and who has tested positive to coronavirus, has visited a pub near Logan City.
The woman, aged in her 50s, had visited the Glen Hotel at Eight Mile Plains on Wednesday, December 16, between 11am and 2:30pm.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the government would be testing people in the areas the woman had visited while in the region.
A statement released by the hotel on Friday said that it is working closely with Queensland Health and is undertaking a deep clean of the premises as requested by the department.
The Glen said that it has kept a comprehensive list of people who had visited the pub, which would help Queensland Health identify guests who may need to be tested.
