The number of people infected with COVID-19 in Logan and the Scenic Rim has risen again in the last 24 hours.
Queensland Health says infections in Logan have increased by 120 since yesterday to 2,65 . Of those with the virus, 47 acquired it from overseas, 37 picked it up locally through a known contact, 14 don’t know where they got the infection from and 12 infected people are from interstate.
In the Scenic Rim there’s only been an increase of 9 more people with COVID-19 taking the total so far to 86. Four people contracted it from overseas, four others from someone they know and one from a person they don’t know.
