A teenage boy and two men have been charged with murder over a North Booval street brawl on Tuesday afternoon that left one Logan City man dead and another with critical head injuries.

It’s alleged two groups had arranged to meet on Baden Jones Way over a dispute about a stolen motorbike at 5 pm.

Soon after a fight erupted between the group of nine men, some armed with baseball bats and one with a firearm.

31-year-old Carlo Piero Stewart from Calamvale was caught up in the melee, shot twice, and died a short time later in Ipswich Hospital.

Four other people were also taken to hospital.

Last night detectives charged a 28-year-old Logan man, a 24-year-old North Booval man and a 16-year-old Riverview boy with one count of murder and two counts of grievous bodily harm.

All three will appear in Ipswich courts later today.

A 29-year-old Heritage Park man remains in the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical head injuries.
