UPDATE: Fast food bandits still on the run from police

Logan detectives are still hunting for two men who stole money from three fast food businesses in Meadowbrook and Browns Plains last night.

The bandits were riding a motorbike and entered the drive-thru of the businesses, with the pillion passenger stealing cash from the service window area, before the pair sped off.

No one was hurt but in one instance staff were threatened with a metal bar and a female teenage employee was pushed out of the way and a service window was smashed.

The thefts occurred over a three hour period, with the first one occurring at a business on University Drive at Meadowbrook at 6.40pm, the second at a fast food outlet on Edenlea Drive at Meadowbrook at 8.30pm and the third at around 9.30pm at a business on Browns Plains Road at Browns Plains.

The rider of the motorbike was wearing dark clothing and the pillion passenger a white top. Both had dark coloured helmets.

Police are appealing for anyone with information which can help with this investigation to contact them.
